🌿 Who May Participate

Artists from Sterling and surrounding communities
Ages 14 and up

🖼️ Exhibit Your Work

Submit up to two pieces

Maximum size: 18” x 24” (framed)

All artwork must be display-ready

Accepted Media:
Watercolor · Acrylic · Oil · Prints · Photography · Ceramics · and other visual arts

💫 Sales Opportunity

Artists may choose to offer their work for sale.
All transactions are handled directly between artist and buyer.

💵 Hanging Fee

$5 per piece. Cash, Check, Venmo and PayPal
🌟 Free for SAC Members

The Sterling Arts Collaborative Review Committee reserves the right to decline artwork deemed inappropriate for the show.

2026 May Art Exhibit Release Agreement

Sterling Arts Collaborative – Art Show Participation Agreement (May 2026)

By participating in the May 2026 art show sponsored by the Sterling Arts Collaborative, Inc. (“SAC”), the undersigned agrees to the following:

Liability Waiver

The participant agrees to hold harmless the Sterling Arts Collaborative and the Town of Sterling from any and all claims for damage, injury, or loss of personal property, including artwork, or personal injury arising from participation in this event.

Artwork Handling and Requirements

The participant understands that all artwork will be handled by SAC volunteers.

All submitted artwork must:

Be properly framed
Include a secure hanging wire on the back
Be suitable for display on a free-standing metal gridwork system
Not exceed a framed size of 18” x 24”

Sales of Artwork

The participant may choose to display artwork for exhibition only or offer it for sale.

All sales transactions are the sole responsibility of the participant. SAC is not a party to any sale. The participant is responsible for:

Identifying which pieces are for sale
Providing contact information for interested buyers

Hanging Fee

A $5 hanging fee per artwork applies (maximum of two pieces).
SAC members are exempt from this fee.

Payment may be made by cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal.

If paying by check in advance, please make checks payable to Sterling Arts Collaborative and mail to:

Drop-off and Pickup

Participants agree to:

Deliver up to two pieces of artwork to
Sterling 1835 Town Hall, 31 Main Street
on Friday, May 29, 2026, between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM
Retrieve artwork on
Saturday, May 30, 2026, between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM

If additional time is needed for pickup, participants should notify SAC in advance.

Security

While SAC will have a gallery observer present during public hours, SAC cannot guarantee security of artwork outside those hours. The building remains in use for other community programs when the show is not open to the public.

Agreement and Acknowledgment

By submitting this form, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the terms and conditions outlined above for participation in the May 2026 Sterling Arts Collaborative Art Show.
