About the instructor:
Steven Faucher attended the School of the Worcester Art Museum for two years, then graduated from the Mass College of Art in Boston receiving his BFA. He also studied for a few summers at the Cape Cod School of Art in Provincetown Massachusetts.
Although starting off as a landscape artist, he has moved in the direction of abstract art, taking the basic principles of art and landscape painting, and applying them to abstraction. His primary focus in abstract art is the joy of color and its application and expression. As he says, "to be free and paint like a child and have it look beautiful, and with all the joy that comes with it is no easy task, yet it is within reach".
